I want to share with you this beautiful letter from the "twins" who you may remember we sponsored for their nursing degrees. These sisters are from the Untouchable caste and have worked so hard to rise above their social challenges and the extreme poverty (and lack of education) of their family. Thank you to all who supported them financially and to all who have cheered them on. I think their letter will make your day, as it did mine. ❤❤❤

"Namaste! It's us, Joyana and Ceylon. We would like to thank you for showing us utmost kindness and supporting us unconditionally. We are delighted to write to you today.

In these past years a lot of changes have occurred and we can say that the one that changed our life the most is receiving this degree (BscNursing). Without your relentless support, unbiased love, it would not be possible to do so.

Receiving this degree has brought many changes to our lives. This profession has taught us so much, certainly by qualification but more so as a human being. It has built us to be more empathetic, advocative, helpful and so much more.

We've seen happiness, grief, different relationships, encountered many personalities, witnessed different human emotions and met so many inspiring individuals through this journey. It has helped us see life through different perspectives.

We feel extremely blessed and lucky to have your assistance. With your help this confused two individuals now have hopes and dreams to do better in life. With your help we have accomplished to become competitive, qualified individuals. It has encouraged us to do our best and we take pride that we are also one of the most people who will contribute for change. We are happy that by acquisition of this degree we will be able to assist, save and touch many lives. And nothing makes us more happier that to see our parents becoming proud of our accomplishments.

Learning is an ongoing, lifelong process and our journey has still to see many changes, witness so many lives and so many hurdles in future. We will continue learning and exploring.
