LOVE IS EVERYTHING

I came across this quote today on a friend’s blog and it spoke to me:

I am continuing to mull over my shifting perception of “charity” and my relationship to what I am doing with Shanti. More and more I see that it is not so much about money or about guilt for having comforts when so many in the world suffer. More and more it is clearly the most natural thing in the world, this giving. A simple and natural flow of caring moving out into the world from person to person. The children are a gift, to me and to the donors. They open our hearts and help us experience the love that stitches together all of life. They help us see beyond ourselves and our daily concerns and experience the joy that comes from small acts of kindness. They help us be more human.
